About Us

Central Coast Tenants’ Advice and Advocacy Service (CCTAAS) has operated on the Central Coast for over 22 years.

We are a self incorporated not for profit entity managed by a volunteer Management Committee. The Service provides advice and advocacy for all tenants and residents in residential parks on the Central Coast, comprising the Central Coast Local Government Area. The Service also assists tenants in the Lake Macquarie Local Government Area where the postcode is the same as that for Wyong, and where the matter will be heard in the Gosford NCAT venue. The region extends from Gwandalan in the north, down the coast to the Hawkesbury River and its islands in the south, and west to Bucketty and beyond Mangrove Creek.

CCTAAS is funded through grants allocated to the Tenants Advice and Advocacy Program (TAAP) overseen by Fair Trading. Funds are raised from interest received on tenants rental bonds lodged with Renting Services. Services under TAAP apply for funding through an expression of Interest every three years. CCTAAS is currently funded for three full time workers until June 2023.
